🌿 Turn your yard into a fragrant, flowering carpet — without the endless mowing. The Creeping Thyme Seed Pouch by Flawn Seed Kits gives you a genuinely low-maintenance, pollinator-friendly lawn using pure, non-GMO Thymus serpyllum seeds. It's a thoughtful, climate-friendly gift for gardeners, nature lovers, or anyone ready to rethink what a lawn can be.

✨ Features

  • 🌱 Pure Non-GMO Creeping Thyme Seeds: Contains only Thymus serpyllum — no grass seed fillers, no shortcuts. Just authentic, flowering ground cover.
  • ♻️ Compostable Kraft Pouch: Packaged in eco-friendly, compostable kraft that fits right into a sustainable lifestyle.
  • 📏 Ultra Low-Growing Ground Cover: Stays just 2–4 inches tall, forming a dense, flexible carpet that looks neat without constant trimming.
  • 🌸 Pink-Purple Summer Blooms: Produces charming pink to purple flowers from July through September, adding soft seasonal colour to your landscape.
  • 🐝 Pollinator Magnet: Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators — providing a vital nectar and pollen source well into autumn.
  • 🌍 Resilient Across Zones 3–9: Thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 3–9. Prefers full sun and sandy or loam soil, but handles part sun well too.
  • 💧 High Drought Tolerance: Once established, creeping thyme needs very little water — only during extended dry spells.
  • 👨‍👩‍👧 Family & Pet Friendly: Safe for the whole family, kids and pets included. A worry-free lawn you can actually enjoy.

💚 Benefits

  • 🕐 Dramatically less mowing: Mow higher and less often — or almost not at all once established. Reclaim your weekends.
  • 💰 Lower water bills: Drought-tolerant once rooted, so you can stop relying on sprinklers for day-to-day maintenance.
  • 🌿 Reduce your carbon footprint: Less mowing, less watering, and more biodiversity — all from one seed pouch.
  • 🦋 Support local wildlife: A flowering lawn that feeds pollinators and contributes to a healthier local ecosystem.
  • 🎁 A gift worth giving: Makes a genuinely meaningful present for holidays, birthdays, or housewarmings — especially for the eco-conscious gardener in your life.

⏳ What To Expect

Creeping thyme is slow and steady — and it's worth the patience. With regular watering, seeds typically germinate in 3–4 weeks. Small plants will emerge over the first couple of months, but expect 18–24 months for full maturity (sometimes 6–24 months depending on existing grass thickness). The first season is about establishing roots; the real show comes later. Consistent watering after seeding and through dry periods is key to getting it established well.

🪴 How To Start Your Flowering Lawn

  1. Prepare: No need to remove existing grass. Simply mow your lawn very short.
  2. Spread: Mix the seed with the carrier product using the carton, then spread evenly over your lawn.
  3. Water: Water lightly but frequently — don't let the soil or emerging seedlings dry out.
  • 🗓️ Seeding Timing: Dormant seed in late autumn on frozen ground, or over fresh snow in winter. In spring, wait until soil temperatures reach around 55°F (late April to early May for the upper Midwest). Designed to be over-seeded into existing grass. Increase the seeding rate for bare soil areas.

🌾 Maintaining Your Flawn

  • ✂️ Mowing: Mow higher and less often to encourage blooms, or shorter and more often for a tidier look with fewer flowers.
  • 🚫 No Pesticides: Skip the weed killers and insecticides. Hand-weed if needed.
  • 💧 Watering: Once established, watering is only necessary during extended drought.
  • 🌼 Pairs Well With: Fine Fescue (Low Mow) Grass, Clovers, Self-Heal, Sweet Alyssum, English Mixed Daisy, White Yarrow.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
